Insert Barcodes Instructions

1．Run ilabel.exe or select the Windows->Start->ilabel to start the label expert program，and select “File->new” in menu, or click .


2． have a “select template” window, then select template, such as select CL225 as shown, after click “OK”, begin to design label.


3． Have a circular text in the design window.


4．Input texts, as shown “ Manufacturer: Shanghai Sticker Trading Co., Ltd.”.


5． Change the size and position of the circular text by , insert a new circular text and input “ Name, Code, Price and Date”.


6． Open a data file or new a data file, now open the “ Import data of fruit” data file.


7． Click “Merge Field”


8． Add the field at blank place behind “Name, Code, Price and Date”.


9． Select “Insert->Barcode” in menu, or click .


10． Select “Fixed value”, input “1234567” at blank place on the “insert barcode ” window.

Note: Explain the order in this window
1) Barcode Type, there are 23 kinds of commonly used types in world, you select a barcode type.
2) If select “Sign”, then the information of numbers or symbols appear on top or bottom of barcode. If not select , they are hidden.
3) If select “ print above barcode”, and the information of numbers or symbols appear on top of barcode, but if not select it, they appear on bottom of barcode.
4) Set and modify the font and size of the information.
5) Describes input rules of human readable text for each barcode types.
6) If you input the information at the blank pace of 9, and the barcodes of every label are same.
7) The barcodes are produced according to the content in the data file.
8) The barcodes are produced according to the serial number generated automatically.
9) Input or link the information of barcode.
10) You can set the rotation value of barcode, and select “0, 90, 180, 270 ”degrees.
11) Pre-view barcode automatically


11． A new barcode as shown.


12． Draw a barcode according to the data file again. As shown, select “barcode” field name to produce barcodes. Select 90 degrees, click “Ok”.


13． Select “ Print Preview”, figure.


14． The barcodes are produced according to the serial number. Select “Insert->Barcode” in menu, or click . Drag a circular on the design window.


15． On the “ insert serial number” window, “Leading Zero value” is 1, “Prefix value” is AB0703, “Suffix value” is blank, “Increment” is 1, “length” is 8, select “ filled by zero”, click “Ok”.


16． Select “file->print preview” in menu, figure.
