Insert Serial Number Instructions

1． Run ilabel.exe or select the Windows->Start->ilabel to start the label expert program，and select “File->new” in menu, or click .


2． have a “select template” window, then select template, such as select CL560 as shown, after click “OK”, begin to design label.


3． Select “ Insert-> Serial Number” in menu or click , have a “ Insert Serial Number” window.


4． On the “ insert serial number” window, “Leading Zero value” is 1, “Prefix value” is 0703AB0571, “Suffix value” is blank, “Increment” is 1, “length” is 14, select “ filled by zero”, click “Ok”.
Note:
a）Leading Zero value is the variable value of the first label.
b）Prefix value is fixed value at the beginning value of the serial number, in front of variable value.
c）Suffix value is fixed value at the end value of the serial number, in the back of variable value.
d）Increment is the added value of variable value, such as ,Leading Zero value is 2, Prefix value is 6, the variable value of the first label is 6, that of the second label is 8, that of the third label is 10, and so on.
e）Length is the digits of number or symbol in the barcode.
f）If select “No-filled”, the actual length of barcode is equal to the all digits of prefix , variable and suffix values, when the “length” is more than the digits.
g）If select “Filled by blank”, when the “length” is more than the all digits of prefix, variable and suffix values, blanks is instead of margin between them. The blanks are located between prefix and variable value.
h）If select “Filled by Zero”, when the “length” is more than the all digits of prefix, variable and suffix values, zeros is instead of margin between them. The Zeros are located between prefix and variable value.
